About Horsforth

Horsforth is located roughly five miles north-west of the city centre.

For its size Horsforth has a high number of bars and pubs. Some of these pubs date back to the 17th century! There's also various cafés, shops and restaurants, making it a popular place to live with families and young professionals.

Horsforth is also home to Leeds Trinity University so attracts a number of students to the area.

Horsforth has fantastic transport links with many bus routes running through the suburb and its own train station providing easy access to Leeds City Centre and the spa town of Harrogate.

 

Properties in Horsforth

There isn't one particular housing type in Horsforth. There are solid stone cottages, new build developments, terraced houses and high end luxurious detached properties. Horsforth is an affluent suburb of Leeds so property prices tend to be higher than nearby areas.

 

Living in Horsforth

Whether it's going for a meal and night out to all the bars on Town Street or visiting Horsforth's Hall Park for a scenic walk complete with Japanese Garden, there's plenty to do.

Olympic triathletes Alastair and Jonny Brownlee are from Horsforth, as is premiership footballer James Milner.
