About Kirkstall

Kirkstall is roughly 2 miles from the city centre and close to the University of Leeds and Leeds Metropolitan University. Its main visitor attraction is Kirkstall Abbey, a ruined Cistercian monastery set in grounds which are now a public park on the north bank of the River Aire.

Properties in Kirkstall

Much of Kirkstall's housing consists of converted back-to-back terraces with large basement conversions and roof extensions, meaning the properties provide a lot of more living space than you'd imagine. Most have a small front yard or garden.
